Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha for a short safari briefing before departing to Tarangire National Park, approximately a two-hour drive away.

Tarangire is famous for its giant baobab trees, seasonal Tarangire River, and one of the largest elephant populations in East Africa. Enjoy an exciting game drive through diverse landscapes while searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, impalas, warthogs, and numerous bird species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive.

Later, drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.
